A Virtual Variety Show

Bright Side: A Virtual Variety Show raised funds for our friends at The Scranton Cultural Center at the Masonic Temple. At a time when in-person live entertainment was not safe, this live-streamed event brought community partners together for a night of family-friendly entertainment that supported a historic landmark in Northeastern Pennsylvania. We had the pleasure of working with the crew at the Scranton Cultural Center to curate an evening of diverse entertainment spotlighting the best of our local performing arts community. In our role, we planned, styled, and filmed ten unique acts tied together with lively hosts, virtual audience participation, and giveaways.

The hour-long production features performances from the Scranton Fringe Festival, Scranton Shakespeare Festival, New Vintage Ensemble, Newave Dance Company, Flashmilk Productions, Michele Conaboy McGrath, and Stephen Murphy, Erin Malloy, Mike Mizwinski, Roy Williams, Mariah Hawley, and the Scranton Cultural Center Youth Theatre Program. Chris Bohinski, of WBRE’s PA Live!, and Camille Reinecke, SCC Youth Theatre Program Director, serve as the evening’s emcees.
